Topics covered in the Journal
Manuscripts should be submitted as a word file including
complete text and figures as e-mail attachment to the
editorial office at: jsstcal @ yahoo.com. Authors are
requested send names and e-mail addresses of three possible
referees. Editorial office reserves the right to choose the
referee. Papers should be original and must not have been
submitted to any other journal. Review articles, research
articles and short communications are generally considered.
Short communications should not be more than three full
pages of the journal and at the top of the front page of the
paper the authors should mention 'Short Communication'.
Authors are solely responsible for the factual
accuracy of the papers.
Text
should comprise an abstract, keywords, introduction,
experimental (materials and methods), results and
discussion, and references. Abstracts should not be of more
than 200 words and should not contain literature references.
An abstract may not be necessary for short communications.
The symbols, abbreviations, units and nomenclature used in
the text should be in conformity with the recommendations of
IUPAC.
Figures in
electronic form should not be embedded in the text, but be
added at the end of the text, one in each page. Wherever
possible, the text should be submitted electronically,
stating the software used.
References to articles from
journals should be given in this order: initials and last
name(s), standard abbreviated title of the periodical,
volume number, first page number and the year of publication
in parentheses, e.g.,
B. N.
Ghosh, S. P. Moulik, K. K. Sen Gupta and P. K. Pal, J. Ind.
Chem. Soc., 40, 138 (1963).
References to a paper or a
chapter in a book, a book with more than one author or an
edited book should be listed in the following style:

author electronically. Corrections should be intimated by
e-mail within 48 hours. Reprints will be supplied on
receiving the reprint order form duly filled and the
